The Asteroid

The Asteroid is an online performance piece that creates an interplay between technology, isolation, and desire. Performed for live and online audiences from the Second Life platform, The Asteroid is a 25 minute avatar performance that can be viewed both in-world and via live streaming.

The Asteroid had its first presentation in December 2017 at Trinity Square Video in Toronto. This was part of a live streamed performance art event curated and presented by 7a*md8, aka the Toronto Performance Art Collective. The Asteroid was also presented at R4W’s International Women’s Day event 2018 on Odyssey in Second Life.
